The location is great. Could walk from ferry terminal. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.
The ensuite room we got was next to shared bathroom so it was very loud during the night time when people came back late and had shower or went for toilet. Aircon in the room was making loud noise as well after been turning on for few hours. It made me get up during the night just to turn it off. Lastly i dont like the bathroom that they dont seperate toilet and shower area. Floor all got wet after shower.
very helpful staff, clean and well located place. I did like everything
Got a stupid cockroach fly in my room throug the window= = and I already close the window= = I think still got some little hole at there= =
Staff were helpful, good location, our private room was clean and offered good facilities tv/dvd's.
The only thing if i was to give this hotel a negative was the fact that we could hear street noise/fireworks from our room which backed out onto the street. Didnt have the best nights sleep for the 2 nights we stayed here but cant fault it for anything else.
The penang authentic design
the reception keep on gossiping in phone without realize the customer is waiting more than 10 minutes in front of her.
Noises on the wooden floor from upstairs
It is definitely a value for money stay at Red Inn Court! Suitable for backpackers especially - comfortable stay and very friendly staff! Very well furnished interior, retaining a historic and nostalgic feel. Basic amenities are well provided. Free flow coffee and tea at all times, great lounge to hang-out while sipping a cuppa!
One may felt as though thousands of horses trudged by when other guests use the stairs or walk around the same landing.
We stayed in a double room share bathroom. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable bed, air con and fan. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ok, ten minute walk from jetty, bus station and the street with all the bars on.
Nothing, stayed here twice and would go back if we returned to penang.
Nothing bad to say, I only stayed for 1 night but will definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Penang. The place looks really nice, room was confortable, shared toilet and shower were clean.
The floors are made of wood so some people with heavy feet made really loud noise but didn't bother me too much. Didn't get to try breakfast as I had to leave early to Cameron Highlands as they serve breakfast around 8:00 - 8:30 AM
the staff is amazing; room and hotel very very clean; excellent location
very good, nice and friendly service. special room furnice design even we need to share the washroom but actually it is quite clean and enought, no need to wait. the breakfase start at 8:30am but it is simple, anyway we enjoy the food. They are so nice and help to print the boarding pass for us without charge. Will come back if have chance next time. Recommend!
a little noisy because our room is close to the street.
Being near the hertage buildings sites.
breakfast food buffet was so little or the food should be allocated per room. tea runs out and not refilled unless asked inspite the 24-hour availabilty posted on the wall.
Everything! The room was very big and clean, showers/toilets combination also clean. Breakfast (toast with jam/peanut butter, some rice/noodles and sorts of fruits) very good and we could take coffee/tea all day long. Wifi is working well and the staff is very helpfull and friendly. What more do you want?
The room was really pretty! The hotel looked really interesting, too.
The light in the bathroom was kind of annoying. It would only turn on if the door was fully closed instead of having a switch. It was fine if you wanted the door closed for showering or... other things, haha. But it was very irritating when doing laundry or just putting in contacts or putting on makeup. The bathroom was kind of small -- which was fine! -- so I felt a bit claustrophobic when I had to shut the door for normal activities. Also, the wifi didn't work in our room.
Very nice staff and good location, just two minutes to Little India. You can also book bus and ferry ticket in the hostel. Definitely will come back next time.
